Cellular Mineral and Toxic Metal Testing

This biochemical test is performed by a licensed clinical laboratory using a small hair sample. A detailed report will be provided with appropriate nutritional recommendations for correcting essential mineral and toxic metal imbalances.

Elements tested will include your actual levels for 15 essential minerals, which cannot be manufactured by the body, including:

Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Zinc, Copper, Phosphorus, Iron, Manganese, Chromium, Selenium, Boron, Cobalt, Molybdeum, and Sulfur.

Toxic metals tested include:

Aluminum, Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Beryllium, Arsenic, Uranium and Antimony

What causes these biochemical imbalances?

Diet- improper eating habits, diets high in processed and refined foods, chronic dieting, dislike or exclusion of certain foods, and soil depletion of essential nutrients.

Stress- physical, mental, emotional, chronic or acute stress will cause loss of minerals due to increased need for minerals.

Medications-may deplete nutrient minerals and lead to toxic metal excesses.

Pollution- toxic elements in the food, air, water and chemical exposure. For example: mercury in seafood.

Nutritional Supplements- improper dietary supplements not balanced for your specific needs, or lack of vitamins and minerals as co-factors for proper nutrient absorption.
