Food Additives
A food
product’s list of ingredients reveals the presence of chemicals added to the food to enhance shelf life, flavor and
color.
People
with anxiety, depression, allergies, hay fever, asthma, hyperactivity, attention, memory and concentration issues need to avoid these chemical food additives as much as possible.
Read food labels for these chemical additives:
Preservatives: sulphur dioxide and sodium benzoate: juices, soft drinks, wine, beer, sauce mix, pickles, frozen
foods.
Colorants: natural or synthetic red, yellow and blue dyes: soft drinks, juices, sweets, desserts, toppings,
syrups, sauces, pickles.
Sweeteners: artificial sweeteners of aspartame (NutraSweet)
and Splenda: found in diet, low calorie, no sugar added foods.
Salicylates: (acetyl salicylic acid): oranges, tea, berries, spice mixes, apricots, almonds, ice cream, honey.
MSG: (monosodium glutamate) - a flavor enhancer. Disguised on labels as: hydrolyzed vegetable, plant
and protein extract, sodium and calcium caseinate, yeast extract, autolyzed yeast, malt extract, bouillon broth, stock flavoring,
natural beef or chicken flavoring, seasoning spices, soy protein, carrageeenan.
MSG
is found in most soups, fast foods, chips, frozen foods, ready made dinners,
canned food, Asian food, soy sauces, spice packet mixes and other foods where it is hidden under other names.
Excitoxins
Dr. Russell
L. Blaylock has written a must-read groundbreaking book: EXCITOXINS: THE TASTE THAT KILLS (amazon.com).
His book
details the dangers of MSG and NutraSweet as causing severe neurological damage, brain damage and the death of nerve cells.
These substances can cross the blood-brain barrier and interact directly with the brain and its chemical components. They
cause the brain to be hyper excited and to release toxic free radicals which damage the nerve and brain cells, causing
them to die!!!
