Energy and Wellbeing
Feelings of aliveness, good health and well being are
important indicators
of our energy, vitality and longevity.
One
of the first signs of illness and aging is a measurable decrease in physical, mental or emotional energy.
This
lack of energy produces a slow metabolism, poor digestion, inadequate nutrient
assimilation and inefficient elimination of toxic waste products.
Daily life requires a steady supply of vital life energy!
Physically,
a lack of energy produces a drained, lethargic, and fatigued person who has erratic sleep, appetite and eating patterns.
Emotionally, lack of energy compromises the ability to cope with short and long term stressors.
It produces states of overwhelm, hypersensitivity, nervousness, anxiety or depression.
Mentally, lack of energy produces dullness, forgetfulness, inattention, confusion and
poor memory. The brain and nervous system are highly sensitive and responsive to any drop in energy.
The Energy Glands
Enough Fuel with a Strong Spark= Cellular Energy
The
Adrenal Glands produce the fuel or energy for the body. The cortex controls the
normal
daily need for fuel. The medulla produces the hormones for stressful events.
The
Thyroid Glands produce hormones that act as the spark plugs, which ignite the fuel supplied by the adrenals, to produce
energy.
Both
glands can become depleted by illness, aging, medications, poor diet, nutrient deficiencies and stress. When this occurs the
metabolic energy will be affected.
A
cellular mineral test can reveal the nutritional status of minerals which are hormone precursors for these glands of metabolism.
Deficiencies and imbalances can be corrected with a tailored program of diet and specific supplementation.
Strong
and healthy thyroid and adrenal glands will supply a steady supply of vital energy to fuel all metabolic needs physically,
mentally and emotionally.
