HORMONAL BALANCE FOR WOMEN

Hormone production and availability changes dramatically throughout our lives. Every woman between the ages of 12 to over 100 will be affected by changing hormone levels as we mature and age.

At puberty and through our early 20’s the hormones are at their peak level allowing menstruation, fertility, conception, childbirth, nursing, and nurturing of our families.

Hormone production begins a decline in the mid 30’s and by the early 40’s, the peri-menopause phase begins. In this 5- 10 year period, hormone production decreases more dramatically. Middle age weight gain is common as blood sugar and blood fat levels are often higher. Periods become erratic, heavy or light. You feel more fatigued, sleep is disrupted, or you feel easily stressed and irritable. You are definitely feeling warmer or outright hotter with night sweats or hot flashes.

Menopause signals the end of the reproductive period and another decline in hormones occurs at about age 50. Women feel hotter and dryer. The skin and mucous membranes do not produce the lubricating oils needed to keep them moist. Skin wrinkling is more prominent and the hair looses its luster, becomes more dry and breakable due to the loss of hormones.

 Non-Invasive Hormone Testing

A simple saliva test can determine your actual hormone levels. A natural program of hormone replacement and balancing can help turn back the clock and restore a woman’s longevity and vitality.

Estrogen levels affects: bone density, sex drive and desire, hot flashes and night sweats, depression and irritability, weight gain, migraines, thinning hair and depressed thyroid function.

Progesterone levels affects: body fat, sleep, sex drive, relief of menopause symptoms, pms symptoms, breast cancer protection

Testosterone levels affects: Energy, sexdrive, desire, bonding, hair growth, building muscle, burning fat

DHEA levels affects: life extension, anti-aging, protection from disease, immune booster, and reversing the effects of stress.
