Harmony Gold publicly launch Robotech.com
February 15, 2001 - After many months of beta testing with the help of fans, Harmony Gold has finally launched their Robotech web site hosted by Steve Yun and Tom Bateman. Harmony Gold deems their web site as the Official source, but a good part of the fandom would likely disagree. It's the first time Robotech has ever had an official commercial site. We can hope good things come out of it.

Completely New Robotech Toys are released by Toynami
March 27, 2001 - Toynami has released the first set of Robotech toys: Super Deformed Figurines and Keychains of Battloids. Super Deformed Morphers of the Veritechs will be released in May. Also, a sneak preview of toys to come. [ Toynami Robotech Toys ]

Robotech Video Games announced by TDK Mediactive for 2002
May 17, 2001 - TDK Mediactive, a software publisher, has announced a Robotech license agreement to create Robotech video games for next-generation systems. Vicious Cycle, Inc. is in charge of creating these video games and their 3D engine. These new games are due out late 2002.

Robotech DVD Volume 2: Transformation (episodes 7-12). Robotech DVD Box Set: Legacy Collection 1 (DVD Volume 1, 2, and Extra 1). This begins The Macross Saga; the first saga of the Robotech series.

Super Veritech Morphers Released
November 2001 - Toynami has released their line of Super Veritechs (Armored Veritechs) Super Deformed Morphers line featuring VF-1S Skull Leader, VF-1J Max Type, and VF-1J Miriya Type. These transform from Fighter Mode to Battloid Mode.

Robotech Super Poseable Battloid Figures are Coming
November 2, 2001 - Toynami has announced that their series of 5 Macross Saga Battloids will be releasing in December 2001. These battloids has over 18 joints for full poseable ability. Lucky buyers will be able to get their favorite pilot's battloids: Rick, Roy, Max, Miriya, and a standard VF-1A.

Toynami releases New Info on Masterpiece Collection
November 14, 2001 - Toynami has announced that the new Masterpiece Collection Veritechs will be 1/55 scale (originally 1/65). They'll have an LED light in the head, removable pilot, cockpit ladder, die-cast metal and plastic mold structure, and much more. VF-1J will be released March 2002. All 5 Masterpiece Collection Veritechs will be Limited to 10,000 in production. Robotech.com's shipment will have an excusive masterpiece cels sold with the Masterpiece Veritechs.

ToyFare features new Robotech Toys
November 14, 2001 - ToyFare #53 will be featuring information and behind the scenes on the new Masterpiece Collection. ToyFare also have a Robotech contest of winning a Super-Scale Battloid that is 1/12 in scale. Drawings must be received by Feb 1, 2002.

Robotech Video Games announced for the Latest Console Game Systems
December 4, 2001 - TDK Mediactive has annouced that the new Robotech games will be released for Playstation 2, GameCube, X-Box, and GameBoy Advance. These will be released later next year, 2002.

Toynami increases Limited Edition Number of Masterpiece
December 5, 2001 - Due to pre-orders at Robotech.com being sold out so quickly and elsewhere, Toynami has now changed the Limited production number to 15,000 instead of 10,000. Toynami creating their own Robotech Mini-Busts
December 30, 2001 - Toynami is developing miniature busts of the Macross Saga characters. For those who don't know what a bust is, its simply the head and shoulders of a person as a statue. These will be made of cold-cast porcelain and limited to 2,500 per character. The first line will include Rick Hunter, Roy Fokker, Max Sterling, Miriya, and Lynn Minmei. Rick is plan to release in Feb 2002.
