Explorer Post 31

This post was established for young adults age 14 (who have completed eighth grade) to 20, who are enrolled in or have completed high school.  The post allows members to gain basic knowledge of and experience some aspects of the fire service.  Members also enjoy other activities such as canoe and ski trips, skeet shooting, paintball, etc.  The purpose of the organization is to promote basic firefighting skills, leadership, personal fitness, citizenship, and character development.

 

Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Heyworth Fire Department.

 

To join, a young adult can simply come to one of our meeting's and complete an application.
