About the Department
Randolph Twp. Fire Protection Dist. was organized in 1956. The district has one main station where all
firefighting equipment is located and an office building that is shared with the Township government.
All 911 Emergency calls are received in the McLean County Emergency Telecommunications Center (METCOM) in Bloomington.
The department members are then notified by pager.
The RTFD members are all volunteer and have created their own organization to support the community.
The Fire Dept. Members conduct fundraisers such as the annual Pancake and Sausage Day to help fund community activities.
