I'm 58 years old, married with 2 sons. One son went to heaven quit suddenly in Sept of 2003 at the age of
23. My other son ,now 21,is doing well and attending college. Both of my boys are awesomely Blessed by God.
Alot has changed since my childhood in the 1950's and 60's that's for sure. People are living longer, things
that used to be a death sentence are survivable now, medicine and technology have really advanced. But now we have Lymes Disease
and AIDS. Flesh eaiting bacteria occassionally infect people in hospitals and kill them. Diseaes like Ebola ravage
those in primitive countries and now in the name of the Environment the poor and unfortunate are dying of maleria
(which once was considered wiped out) because their governments will not use DDT which is the most effective means of killing
maleria carrying mosquitoes. Are we better off ? You tell me.
I have lived through the cold
war. I remember the old drop and cover commercials which instructed the populace what to do if "THE BOMB" hit and they were
caught outside. I remember the way the country went into a panic when the Russians were the first to launch a satelite that
orbited the earth. I remember when most Televisions were black and white, TV stations signed off at 1 or 2 in the morning,
nothing was opened on Sunday (it really wasn't bad you know), many of the TV programs were live and produced locally, the
advent of the remote control, eight track player, vcr, cds. When I was a teenager everybody had a transistor radio and
if something was made in Japan it cheap garbage that would fall apart. When I entered the work world there were no computers,
or bar code scanners. ATM cards did not exist and there was no such thing as direct deposit of electronic banking.

Politically speaking I've done a complete 180
in many areas. I was raised in a Democratic Household. My parents were both "New Deal" Democrats who lived through the depression
and world war two. My dad was raised in an orphanage and my moms family survived with the help of the breadlines and government
make work projects. Both my parents thought that FDR was the greatest thing since sliced bread, that the Democrats were on
their side and really cared about the common working man (back then, they did ) and that the Republicans were the party
of buisness, caused the depression and were out to get them.
Of course, I grew up believing that.
The Vietnam War was a defining moment in my life, the lives our my folks
and in the lives of many people in this country.
It seems like everybody thinks that the war was Richard Nixon's fault eventhough Democratic
President Lyndon Johnson was the person in power who escalated the war. Nixon just had that special way about him .... I
was taken in by the news media's slanted coverage and all of the antiwar propadanda. I
After many years of physical and emotional abuse
and terror inflicted by my father, I won my freedom,(eventhough I was arrested) by refusing to buckle to my father anymore
and standing my ground. That action resulted in a knock down, drag out fight. Even though my dad was a better in close dirty
fighter than I was, I won. I spent most of my senior year (I was thrown out of the house twice) (it's lots of fun
in January) living off of the charity of my friends families.
The counter culture which challenged the values
and beliefs of our parents was in full gear at this time. I was a young man who grew up with a ton of anger and lots of reasons
not to trust people. By the time I reached draft age there was no way that I was going to risk my life and an eternity in
hell (yeah deep down inside even then I knew that's where I was headed if I died) for what I thought was a fraudulent war,
when I had just begun to live.
Back a my parent's house for for the end of high school,
my girlfriend for the past 9 months broke up with me without warning so I spent the dough that my mother had given to
go to the Senior Prom on a bag of weed.
After being thrown out of my parents house for 2 long stretches during my senior
year the young lady of my affections had become a bigger part of my life than a girl should be. So when we broke
up I felt that I had lost a part of myself and felt a pain that I can only compare to the deep sense of loss that one get's
when someone very close to you passes away.

So, why in the world am
publishing
a
blog
or whatever this is ?
A little about me, I believe that ultimate truth exists and
can be approached.
I believe that the founders of this nation were guided by the
hand of ulitmate truth.
We as a nation are drifting from the truth to our own
peril.
God is truth, He is self existent, created all things and is ultimate reality
and truth.
God revealed Himself to man through the Scriptures and His Spirit, also
through mighty interventions into the affairs of men.
God has most recently revealed Himself through His Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ who paid the price for our sins in order to reconcile us to God, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He
sits at the right hand of the Father.
It was Jesus who declared " I am the way the truth and the life no one
comes to the Father but through me, who proved it by exemplifying wisdom, living a sinless life and perfoming many miracles.
Jesus's actions and word shone forth in rays of the majesty, humility, and in a true manifestation of the love of
God. It was Jesus who said I and the Father are One (one in essence and nature). And even the Old Testament spoke of
His Godhood and Etenernal Existence (Isaih 9:6 "unto us a child is born unto us a Son is given and the goverment shall be
upon his shoulders and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, the Prince of
Peace.")
You can think whatever you want about me but the founders of this nation
were tremendously influenced by Jesus Christ and guided by His hand. Many of them were Christians and as such followers of
Christ. Even those among the founders who weren't known as believers were greatly influenced and inspired by the Scriptures.
There has been no nation like the United States of America in the History
of Man, in might, power , or prosperity. And no country in the history of the planet has even approached our nation in helping
the less fortunate.
As we drifted away from God in the twentieth century our nation experienced
His judgement (the Great Depression after the excesses of the immoral roaring 20's, in my opinion). More recently we have
expierienced the consequences of Secular Humanism's ascendency in our culture. Since the late 1950's there has been
a gradual and steady increase in the rates of robbery, murder, child molestation, rape, drug abuse, broken families,
disrespect for parents and the warped disrespect for others that pervades our culture. Also sexual perversion and sexually
transmitted disease. We live in a society where good is often called evil and vice versa.
Our government, news media and so called institutions of higher learning
are infested with human beings in the places of power and influence who have bought into the Secualar Humanistic Belief System.
Man rather than God is at the center of the defining of reality and morality. Now in Institutions of "So Called" higher learning(called
colleges), even in some grade schools and high schools, in the entertainment industry and government the agenda is the advancement
of Socialism, World Government, the phoney
theory of Global Warming and the accompanying surrender of our sovereignty and freedom which is the goal of it's promoters, False
Envirnomentalism, Cultural Relavism and Moral Relativism. The absolute assininity, elitism, hatred, knee jerk reactionism,
thoughlessness and intolorence of Political Correctness has advanced and is enforced with totalatrian zeal on college
campuses . In fact colleges have not only become the lauching pad and brainwash factory for the aforementioned bilge
but also for the assorted dogmas of sexual peverts, america haters, heterophobes, anti-christian bigots ecetera, Ad
Nauseum.
America is in the midst of a culture war. it's future is on the line.
As a Christian, on this website I have chosen to express my opinions and
engage this culture war instead of ignoring it. It's not always pretty and it shouldn't be. My opinions and writing
style are rather blunt and to the point. It's still a free country and will continue to be as long as Hitlary (Hillary Clinton
to you more genteel folks) and her ilk are kept out of power. You may or may not appreciate what I've got
to say. I hope you find my opinions at least thought provoking.
