Whatever the political persusion or point of view, sometimes nothing says it better
than a picture and a little comment

My Obamanist friends at work are getting a little carried away
with the inauguration of the first American President whose first attempt at winning elected office was as a member of a Communist
Organization called the New Party. Anyhow they can't resist sharing the joy with me so in a good faith effort of bipartisanship
I am compelled to share something with them as well.
I was sent this nice little toon
So I returned the favor

I was sent
A chance to
see President-elect Obama, practically in your back yard.
Obama's inaugural train leaves Philadelphia
around Noon Saturday - making a "whistle stop" at the Wilmington train station to pick up VP-elect Biden and his family before
they head to Washington.
A ceremony is planned for Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park - next to the train station - at
1 o'clock. Mr. Obama is expected to make brief remarks, with the bulk of the time devoted to Biden - as he leaves Delaware
for DC. The event is open to the public, with gates opening at 9:30 a.m.
If you go, you're asked to bring a canned
good with you to donate.
The train is expected to pull out of the Wilmington station around two, making a stop in
Baltimore before arriving in DC.
You can also hear live coverage on 1150AM WDEL.
So I replied

Sometimes People don't know when to let well enough alone. But, I don't mind
The following was sent to me at work under the title,

For a limited time, we are offering both the official 2009 RNC calendar and the newest member of our GOP elephant family,
Nick, available for purchase.
Order today to ensure prompt delivery during the Holidays. Nick, with his festive cap and scarf, makes a great stocking
stuffer for your favorite Republican or children or grandchildren. And the 2009 Calendar, with photographs personally hand-picked
by Laura Bush, is a great gift for any of your friends, family or co-workers -- or get both for yourself. But time
is running out.
Available only while supplies last! Order today.
I hope you will take advantage of this special offer. Your contribution will help our Party start the New Year with the

Sincerely,

Sue Gazdo Director, RNC Membership Services
