River of Life Fellowship is pastored by Ken Lawrence. God started laying a burden and a vision for Sandpoint on Ken's heart in the summer of 1997. He was living there by that fall and started meeting in his home with a few families. Soon the work had grown, and they were meeting in a conference room in a restaurant and then later in a hotel. As the body grew God started opening the doors for a church building to be purchased in a prime location in the city. Through much faith and prayer, miracles happened and in May of 1998 the building was purchased. The first service held there was on Memorial Day. God has been blessing and growing the body in spirit and in number. The vision that God has laid on our hearts is for the city of Sandpoint, not just one church or denomination. In fact, it is for THE church, the bride of Christ. Our vision is REVIVAL! Our definition of revival is NOT the saving of souls or great music or great preaching of the Word, but it is an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through the working of the Holy Spirit manifested in our lives. We believe that giving yourself over to the Holy Spirit doesn’t have to, but in a lot of cases does, result in spiritual and/or physical manifestations, and should cause a burning hunger for more of the Lord and growth in your personal walk. We believe that the harvest of souls is a RESULT of revival in the heart of the church!!! We believe that Sandpoint is on the brink of a mighty move of God through this revival, and that we as a city need the opportunity to be exposed to what God is doing throughout the world today. As people hear, see, and experience the testimony of God’s love and miracles, we believe their eyes and hearts will be opened to doing whatever is necessary for God to take hold of our churches and our city and make it into whatever He wants it to be. God has provided for us to have monthly conferences that bring to us revelation, healing, and spiritual growth. Please pray and intercede not only for our church, but also for our city as we continue forward, following the path that God has laid for us.

"The Fountain of Life"
Many people search for the fountain of youth. I tell you this is fleshly. I offer you the Fountain of Life. Come drink from it, let it be your refuge. (Psalm 91) Come let it restore your soul. (Psalm 23) The fountain of youth may dry up, like a seasonal waterfall it too shall fade. I give you the Fountain of Life, full of the flowing, living water. It's source has no end, it lasts eternally. Once you drink from it, it flows in you. But also I tell you, let the living water flow from you. Like the loaves and fishes, there is plenty for all. Trying to keep it in would be like trying to stop a raging river. Let it flow from you. Let all who thirst come to the fountain.

Revelations 22: 1-2
And He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of it's street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding it's fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
