Fred and Edna Bradley Home

The Fred and Edna Bradley Home is located at 116 East Camino Colegio (head south on Speed Street and west on Camino Colegio).

This eight-room, Georgian-Colonial style house was built in 1938. Fred was the son of Santa Maria's first Bradley, Charles. Fred ran the Bradley Hotel, which Charles bought from the Reuben Hart family. Fred died early from a heart attack, but Edna stayed active playing bridge and attending parties until her death. The women of that day always commented on Edna's beautiful clothes and jewelry.
