In honor of the 10th
anniversary of the Saxton-Liberty Sesquicentennial, the price of Shelf Art has been reduced at the Library. We have the Roundhouse, Chalfonte Hotel, Abbott Brothers, Aldine Theater, Eichelberger's Hardware, Main Street, Saxton
Fire Hall, Funeral Chapel, Trinity U.C.C., and Saxton-Liberty High School. Some are very limited in number, so don't
delay if you need to fill in your collection.
STORY HOUR for children Pre-K through third grade is led on
Mondays from 6-7 p.m. by Ivy Ramsey and Jamie Wilson. The children will enjoy
stories and a craft/activity. Parents or guardians must accompany children in first
grade or younger. If schools are closed for a holiday or bad weather, there
will be no Story Hour. PA Forward Basic Literacy.
A SUMMER READING PROGRAM will be held in June and July. Come Fizz, Boom
Read with us. Call 635-3533 for more information .
WEIGHT LOSS SUPPORT group will
meet on alternate Thursdays. Please call the Library at 635-3533 for specific dates. The sessions are free and you may choose any weight loss plan that works for you. PA Forward
The BOARD OF DIRECTORS will meet on May 13, July 8, September 9 and November 11 at
7 p.m. at the Library.

Financial contributions are always welcome at the Library. We also have a Memorial/Honor book policy. Please support the United Way of
Bedford County and consider making the Library the recipient of your designated gift.
E-BOOKS: Need help with e-books? Call us at 635-3533. Have a suggestion for purchase? Please let us know and we can make the request to the Altoona
Library. Using your Saxton Library card number gives us credit for the circulation.
