FTL: Odds & Ends

"Learning in Toyland"learningintoyland.gif (13771 bytes)

Davidson and Associates brought six different toylands from Fisher-Price into one software.  They include the All-In-One-Kitchen Center, All-In-One Workshop, Big Action Garage, FLIP TRACK MOUNTAIN, Talking Smart Street, 3-in-1 Creativity Table.

The objective is to transport an object from one location to another using the different transportation styles provided in the Mountain set.  Although you may choose alternate delivery routes, the Flip Track portion of the program is very repetitive, which I found boring after a few minutes.  I was somewhat disappointed that the objective never ends, and thus doesn't offer a reward or finale after completing so many missions.  However, I am also over 30 and may be a little too advanced for the program's intended user.  When my beta-tester gets older, I'll use her opinions as a better barometer.

There have been numerous positive web reviews for "Learming in Toyland."  I was only focusing on the Flip Track portion of the program.
