Biographies
Joel Schwartz, Lead
A great lead with a clear voice, Joel is the free spirit in the group. A
professional photographer, computer whiz, and all-around electronics geek, he’s
a true Renaissance Man. Even though we use him as our whipping boy every time a
song doesn’t work, he’s the core man(yeah,right). Joel resides in
Haddonfield with his wife, Julie, and three lovely daughters.
Bill O’Connell, Tenor
We are very fortunate to have such a talent in our group. Bill is one of those
rare guys who combines musical ability with pure talent. An accomplished
musician in his own right(plays keyboard in his own band), he anchors the high
end of our sound with the ease and confidence of a true professional. An
engineer, he’s also from Haddonfield, along with his wife Joan and two grown
children.
Steven Ritz, Baritone
The first time we heard Steven sing was in a pick-up quartet. One listen was all
we needed: we had to have this guy! Lucky for us he agreed to become our
baritone. Baritones take a lot of abuse, and Steven’s no exception; but he takes
it with aplomb. He’s also our “Diner” maven(but that’s a whole ‘nother story). A
gifted physician, he lives in Cherry Hill with his wife Sharon and three sons.
Dave O’Malley, Bass
Dave is the Bass of the Group. As long as he’s slobbering out of both sides of
his mouth, he knows he’s singing ok(insider bass joke). He’s single, in sales,
and hails from Collingswood.
