Dear Members:

Your membership dues of $53.00 to the Chapter are due on or before September 15, 2009.  There will be a $5.00 late fee assessed on all payments after September 15, 2009.

We would like to encourage subscriptions to the DAR magazine for $18.00 each.  This is not only informative reading, but Chapter honor roll depends on a percentage of membership to have subscriptions

As you know, years ago our Chapter decided to present Christmas “love gifts” (money donations) to be used for the maintenance of Church Quarter rather than exchange member gifts at our “Christmas in August” meeting.  “Great achievements begin with small opportunities” and this is your opportunity to make a difference.  No gift is too small!

Last, but not least, we would also like to encourage Scotchtown members to become Virginia Patriots for $8.00 in support of the William Byrd Society, C.A.R.  We presently have one Chapter members serving as Senior State officer for the Virginia Society Children of the American Revolution, and one member serving as Sr. Editor and Publisher of the State magazine, and two members serving as seniors for the William Byrd Society.  These young people are the future members of the DAR, S.R. and SAR.

Because of new Federal guidelines for non-profit organizations, it would be appreciated if you would write two checks:
