Wherein "Roxanne" (a Modern Woman) Tells "Cyrano" (a Modern Man)
That Life Isn't Poetry, After All

Dearest Cy,

You are noble
and brave.
Your wit delights me,
and your poetry,
ah...
I love your love.
Alas, alack, you are married.
I would just have to be crazy, crazy
to.
And you do, you do,
do have a big nose.
Oh I'm trying to say this as nicely as I can I don't
want to hurt your feelings,
really, I don't.
But it does rather get in the way,
if you know what I mean.

Fondly, forever

Roxy
