Aeneid Book XII - This book is included in our syllabus and gives the
important conclusion to the story. Turnus prepares to fight Aeneas,
and a truce has been arranged. Olympian interference breaks the truce, and all out war
resumes. Finally Aeneas does face Turnus one on one to determine the fate of two
peoples, the Trojans and the Latins.
