This is for Illinois Scouters, or anyone who has a vehicle registered in Illinois. We are losing an
opportunity and need to act. The Secretary of State has created a set of special plates for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
There are actually 4 of them - one each for Eagle Scouts and Gold Award holders, and two for people who want to support the
Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts in general. $25.00 from each fee goes to the Council serving the zip code the plates are registered
in.
But if 850 people don't put in for the plates by January 1st, they will not be issued.
The form can be mailed or faxed to the Secretary of State's Office.

Please send it in even if your plates don't expire until some time in 2008. Otherwise, these go away. We've
fought for 3 or 4 years to get these plates. Let's not lose them now.
