- Nancy Falkow,
Christine
Havrilla, Amber
deLaurentis and Colleen McFarland
- Wow. Don't
ask us how we did it, but we squeezed these four awesome ladies
into our front room for a special in-the-round show. And if that
wasn't enough, we squoze in an awful lot of people in the audience
too.
-
- Any one of
these ladies solo would have been worth it, but the four of them
together was out of this world. See them, in any combination,
whenever you get a chance!!
-
- Thanks to
Don for a couple of the pics! There's tons more
at his website.

- March 1st, 2003
- Sean Altman
-
- A return visit
from Sean - and I'm sure we'll have him back again. Just a fun,
fun, fun evening of power pop tunes. Listen for yourself - go
to his website, download some tunes and enjoy. (I highly recommend
"Rebecca" and "Person")
-
- If only Sean
wasn't too old and too ugly to be a rock star...

- Pat DiNizio
-
- Pat rocked
SixthSt taking requests, playing Smithereens songs and some nifty
covers - anyone who plays Buddy Holly and Threetles songs is
going to go down great with us!

- June 15th, 2003
- Clive Gregson
-
- Finally we
had a Brit come to play at SixthSt, and boy was it worth the
wait. Clive is a very well kept secret - a true gem, but I'm
glad enough people were in on it to make this show a success.

- September 20th, 2003
- Rachael Davis
-
- Holy Cow,
Rachael can sing. Such a huge, powerful voice from a tiny person.
Her parner-in-crime Brett can really play guitar too. She'll
be back in Media in April, and you should go see her whenever
you can. I'll give you your money back if you don't like her!

- March 5th, 2004
- Full Frontal Folk
-
- This Fantascially
Funky Female Five-piece Folk Fhenomenon played to a packed house
at SixthSt. They're such a fun band, and fun is something
that everybody needs a regular dose of. In conclusion: you need
to see Full Frontal Folk.

- April 18th, 2004
- Martyn Joseph
-
- It was such
an honour to have Martyn play here - he plays much, much larger
places in his native Britain. Even so, he put on a killer show
in our tiny living room. I hope he comes back to the States soon
- and that you don't miss the chance to catch him then.

- September 26th, 2004
- Christine Havrilla
-
- We were so
happy we got to have Christine back for a solo show (well, not
really solo because she bought Gretchen to sing with her and
they sounded just wonderful). Y'all really need to catch Christine
any time you get a chance.

- Amy Rigby
-
- Amy Rigby
rocks my world. She played in our front room. Life is sweet.

- February 25th, 2005
- Beth Amsel
-
- Beth is one
of our favourites. It's always a pleasure to have her come and
play!
|
|
|
- October 23rd, 2005
- Clive Gregson
and Le
Ann Etheridge
-
- Somehow, we
managed to steal these two fine, fine singer/songwriters, for
one night only, from Nanci Griffith's band.

- March 31st, 2006
- Paul and Storm
and Sean
Altman
-
- We wanted
Sean to come back and play, but we're wary of repeating ourselves
too often. Paul and Storm stepped up and joined a co-bill made
in harmony heaven.

- September 23rd, 2006
- Frog Holler
-
- Breaking our
own record for 'number of musicians we can fit in our front room'
(six!!) this was an great, barnstormer of a show. Why aren't
they huge?

- Carla Ulbrich
and Deirdre
Flint
-
- Carla and
Deirdre are an awesome pairing - just funny through and through.
We're still laughing!

- October 21, 2007
- Danielle Howle
-
- Danielle has
been on our 'wish list' since we started doing these shows. We're
so happy she made it up here from South Carolina. One of our
best shows, if you ask me.
