Our Club Program
Our meetings are designed to get everyone involved. Our meetings start with a short business session to provide
vision for the club about where the club is going and updates on what's been accomplished. Then, we move into our
program for the evening, led by one of the members. Other members who are not doing assigned speaking projects are called
on to give impromptu speeches. This is followed by a break in order for the members to mingle and eat the snacks
provided. After the break, the main part of the meeting begins with the speaking projects based on projects from the
Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Program manuals. These projects cover such topics as speech
organization, voice, language and gestures. Each project is given a constructive evaluation. Every prepared speaker
is assigned an evaluator who points out speech strengths and offers suggestions for improvement.
