THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
(Proverbs 1:7.
God is to be feared, to be reverenced, served, and worshiped. This is most important Lesson that you will ever learn.
As a Child grows he (or she) learns from his parents. He will learn how to walk, talk, eat, etc. His parents may even try to teach him right from wrong, but he will never fully understand and do what is right until he fears and respects God. Fools despise wisdom and instruction about the Lord and do as they please because they have no fear of the consequences of their actions.
As a child the only fear I had was my mom's right hand (with a switch in it). When I did wrong I feared what my mom would do when she found out.
At the age of eleven a lady from church stopped by our house and led me to the lord. I had been in church on many a Sunday but on that day I let the Lord into my heart and confessed my sins. At that time I started to learned of Gods saving grace and love for me. I learned that while I was to fear the Lord and not sin anymore, He had provided a way for me to become his child and spend eternity with Him.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
(John 10:29.

Being a young Christian I still did wrong but I knew I had done wrong
