Began Music At Age: 14

Why I Began: I joined the jazz band in school as a drummer, but there was already a drummer who had more experience than me. The band director said the band needed a percussionist and asked me if I wanted to give it a try. I did and ended up loving percussion.

Musical Background: I played percussion in the jazz band in high school. I later joined R&B and funk groups (Self Destruct, Breakwater, Brandi Wells, The Twilights).
