Annual banquet and awards Dinner was held on Saturday. January 31st, 2009. With over 100 members and guest, enjoying a delicious dinner or steam ship round, chicken &crab cakes

Parade Duty
September 5th, 2009

On Saturday Sept. 5th Crisfield Fire Department participated in the 62nd National Hard Crab Derby Parade. with all units in line and 22 members in attendance . Also  a thanks to our brothers & sisters from Independent Hose Company of Fredrick, MD. For over 40 year participation in the event

Service Call
August 22nd, 2009

At 2:54 PM  St.2 Crisfield was alerted for a service call electric wires down. Command 2 on location reporting 3 electric poles down with wires in the road.  Heavy rain and high tides had loosened the pole placed in the marsh (circa Feb. 1939)causing them to lean over and fall. Placed under control in 3:18 PM on scene until 4:30 PM.

House Fire
August 9th, 2009

At 9:51 AM  St.2 Crisfield was alerted for a house fire. Command 2 on location reporting single store home fire showing side a, b &d with confirmed entrapment 5" line was laid and 88 year old home owner was located and removed from the residence. Placed under control in 12:40 PM. Assisted St. 3 Marion, St. 8 Lower Somerset for rehab CPD, MSP & Maryland State Fire Marshall's Office
