in 1908.
My maternal grandfather, Gionzo Sammarco, arrived in the United
States on July 27, 1905 on the Sicilian Prince.

screw. Service speed 12 knots. 1125 passengers ( 25 first class, 1100 third class ). Built for Mala Real Portugueza, Portuguese
flag, in 1889 and named Mocambique. Renamed Alvarez Cabriel in 1898. Sold to Prince Line, in 1902 and renamed Sicilian Prince.
Genoa-New York service. Sold to Northwest Transportation Line, British flag, in 1909. Rotterdam-New York service. Sold to
Khedivial Mail Line, British flag, in 1910 and renamed Abbassieh. Mediterranean service. Scrapped in Italy in 1930.
My paternal grandfather, Rinaldo Falcone, arrived in the United States on October 4, 1921 on the America.

Riuniti, Muggiano, Italy, 1908. 8,996 gross tons; 476 (bp) feet long; 55 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engines, twin screw.
