The parents of my paternal Grandfather were Lucia Dettorre (died in 1934) and Angelo Falcone (died January 13, 1915).
Angelo was a train enginneer, who passed away when he went to rescue victims of a major earthquake in Avezzano.
Rinaldo had three siblings: Aldo (died 1987), Liva (August 15, 1914-1992) and one living sister. Aldo
was a sergeant in the Italian Navy and was captured at the battle of Tobruk in 1941 by the British. He returned to Italy from
India in 1946.
Rinaldo married Giulia (Julia) Isisdori on June 23, 1929 in Castellamare Adriatico. He first came to the United States
on October 4, 1921 on the America and was naturalized August 26, 1930. He has 4 living children. In 1936 he was living at
266 45th Street, Brooklyn, NY. He was a baker at Pickens Bakery on 588 Carroll Street in Brooklyn, NY. In 1937 he returned
to Italy. During WWII he served in the Italian Army and was an interpreter of 5 languages. When he passed away he was a widow,
a baker and was living in Flushing, Queens.
