Are you retired, work part-time looking for something to do during the day? Snow Shoe EMS really needs your help. We currently have 18 volunteers who cover 400 calls for help a year. That is approximately 22 calls per person per year.
It is getting harder and harder for us to keep responding to calls especially during daylight hours. If you are available during the day time and are interested in helping your community please call 814-387-4499 and leave a message or email us at ssems@verizon.net. If you are interested in working bingo, cleaning the building, mowing grass, washing ambulance or doing general maintenance work we are interested in speaking to you. All the volunteer time is tracked and you can take it off of your taxes.
