The NYC Subways, Long Island RailRoad & New Jersey Transit: Best way to navigate the tri-state!

Me zonked out on the subway after a LONG recording session at Four Cats Studios. People say the rocking motion associated with riding the New York City subways is similar to that inside the womb, which explains why so many people can sleep while riding the subway.  Dunno if I was feeling "fetal" or not, but sheer exhaustion while cutting a record will also bring it on!

My original Riverside Roomies!

Slaughter: The Movie: Check out my fomer roomie Travis Wood in this BRAND NEW but soon-to-be cult slasher flick. Getting lots of buzz all over the world! Click on the CAST link and watch Travis' character's face make a creepy change as you drag your mouse over it. YIKES!

Playing a showcase at the world-famous Bitter End in the west village...Among the disasters that night: A man committed suicide by jumping in front of the "C" subway train - stranding my guitar player Dean Bailin underground for nearly 2 hrs.  Luckily, we went on super late and he made it to the club minutes before we went on, but he was pretty rattled.  Freak accident in the studio earlier that week left me guitar-less for the gig - My shoulder strap came loose and the neck hit the floor, severing it from the rest of the guitar.  All in all, a pretty good gig. No one threw any beer bottles at us.

If you are watching New York local news then you need to be watching Cindy Hsu on WCBS-TV2. Great fun to be around and not so bad with a tennis raquet either!

Lisa LaRocca: Morning New Goddess at News 12 Westchester. Lisa and I were the "Regis & Kathie Lee" of Myrtle Beach (or so WE thought) when we anchored the news together there back in the early 90's. Lisa and I worked at three TV stations together (WGSE-TV43, WPDE-TV15 & News 12 Westchester) before I left to pursue my music career full-time in 2001. We used to joke we're going to write a book called "God Help Us" from our scarring experiences anchoring the news at a Christian Broadcasting Company-owned station.

Speaking of Myrtle Beach, SC, a reporter at our then rival WBTW-TV13, Allyson Floyd, is now the Main Anchor at our former station, WPDE-TV15. Allyson and I covered a news conference for political candidate Paul Tsongas on his tour through the Palmetto State my last day on the job and shared a burger together. Great gal and a terrific Journalist!

7-Day Forecast for New York City from NOAA & The National Weather Service

Original Creations: Awesome hand-crafted jewelry and more designed by my cousin Apryl Mott.

Lorinda Lisitza: Acclaimed Vocalist & Actress plus a terrific friend! Lorinda's amazing voice is all over my new CD, "Miracle".

Dean Bailin: Gold-Record recording Guitarist and overall awesome musician & friend. Dean's guitar work is in nearly every single record I've ever recorded & on dozens of hit records, including the 80's gazillion-seller, "Escape: The Pina Colada Song"

Anthony Nation. Fantastic Actor & Singer. See Tony for The Actor's Connection in New York City!

Max Pezzali: Hands-down my favourite Italian Pop Star. Fantastic music & lyrics. You don't need to speak Italian to love his music. This is a link to lyrics to all of his published songs.

Am I Right? Awesome site! How long have you been singing the WRONG lyrics to a song because you can't make-out exactly what the artist is saying...Some famously misheard blunders here and more. Brainless fun.
