We are here to help nourish the roots of faith given the youth of our
parish by their families through Catholic teachings and beliefs, with some joyful, fun experiences, letting them know God
is joy and love.
Come and follow Him with us.
2008-2009 REGISTRATION
Religious education classes in our parish will begin on September 14, 2008. Registration
packets will be mailed to those who had children enrolled in the program last year containing instructions and forms
to be COMPLETED and RETURNED to register children for the coming year. (NOTE: The grade and cycle of registration are printed next to your child’s name.) PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORMS AND MAIL THEM TO St. Mary Parish, 31 Shirley
Street, Ayer, MA 01432, OR DROP THEM OFF AT THE PARISH HOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
If you are new to the parish, or if you have
not yet enrolled your children, or if your child attends a parochial school and you wish them to receive First Communion or
Confirmation here, enrollment forms are available at the Religious Education Office and at the rear of both St. Anthony and
St. Mary Churches (again please note: yellow registration forms are for registration for St. Mary classes, and white
registration forms are for registration for classes at St. Anthony – please choose the form for the parish you wish your children to attend). Fees this year are: $55 for the first child; $50 for the second
child ($120 maximum for a family); and a sacramental fee of $35 for children who you wish to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation,
First Communion, or Confirmation for the first time.

PLEASE PLAN ON ATTENDING THESE VERY IMPORTANT PARENTS’ MEETINGS.
(Religious Education calendars will be handed out at these meetings.)
We are blessed once again to have volunteers to teach our children, but we are still in need of a few teachers, and
we do need some assistants and help with special classes. Please consider volunteering
a little of your time to help in one of these areas. No experience is needed,
just a love of children and the willingness to share your time and faith. Please
