Our Choir

Music Ministry

 

We like to sing, dance, and have a good time.  Our job is to get people in the mood to worship, to praise and to move.  The choir sings in worship during the school year so we can get a break for the summer, and we practice each Thursday at 7 PM.  If you have any interest or experience in music, we would love for you check in with our organist/music director Muriel Hymen.  She will set you up with what you need to make joyful music.

Organist/Music Director Muriel Hymen Muriel is originally from Trumansburg, just outside of Ithaca, New York.  Besides being an accomplished organist and pianist, she runs the music program at our church and co-directs the choir with Tim Croft.  Muriel loves sacred music but once and a while she has been known to slip into a jazz song or two!
