Please remember that Father purifies the Patens and Chalices at the Alter after Communion.

So be reminded that:

· The 1st Minister (of the Host) goes to the Tabernacle, and takes the Vessel to the Priest; later he/she will take the Vessel back to the Tabernacle.

· The 2nd Minister (of the Host) will go to the side table and take the (2) Patens to the Altar; later he/she will take the purified Patens to the side table; then, returns to the Altar, and receives the Purified Cups from the Priest, taking them to the side table; and returning to his/her pew.

· The 3rd and 4th Ministers (of the Cup) will stand in front prior to communion, waiting for the 1st Minister to lead all to the altar.  After communion, they will return the Cups to the Altar, and return to their pews.

Ministry and Discipleship

“Ministry is an integral part of Christian life that flows from our being baptized and confirmed into a life dedicated to ministry and discipleship.

Our sacramental initiation into ministry establishes our lifelong task as one of discernment:  learning where and how our talents and abilities can best be used to build up God’s people.” . .
