Memorial Jubilee Tree

Remember A Loved One This Christmas Season

In recognition of the generous contributions made by parishioners and friends of our parish who were part of our parish’s Jubilee 2000 Campaign, we have erected a permanent Memorial Tree in the vestibule of St. Peter’s Church.  Anyone who wishes to have a remembrance either of the loved one or a special occasion may fill a special form available at the entrances in both churches.  Please call the rectory office 412-321-0711.

Please Note

A provision of the Pension Protection Act of 2006, effective for contributions made in 2009, is that no charitable deduction will be allowed with respect to a gift of cash or check unless the donor maintains either a bank record, e.g., a cancelled check, or written statement from the charity showing the name of this charity and the date and amount of the contribution.  Acknowledgement statements must also indicate whether any goods or services were provided in return for contributions of $250 or more.  This information is particularly important for so called “loose cash collection” donors.
