
Susan Fox grew up in the small East Texas town of Sulphur Springs. She was actively involved in her church choir, where
she began singing lead roles at the age of six, and is a charter member of the Northeast Texas Choral Society. She has
sung with The Living Opera, Garland Summer Musicals, Lyric Stage, Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church, John Calvin
Presbyterian Church, Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, Repertory Company Theatre, and the Irving Chorale. Ms. Fox
is currently the paid soprano at Lake Highlands. Her solo credits include Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio, Handel's
Messiah, Schubert's Mass in G Major, Rutter's Requiem, Mozart's "Laudate Dominum" from Vesperae
solennes de confessore, Ray's Gospel Mass, Rutter's Mass of the Children, and Rutter's Magnificat.
She has portrayed The Mother in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors, Barbarina in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro,
and Claire in The Secret Garden. Several of her solo appearances with the Irving Chorale were aired on Music
of the Metroplex on WRR radio. She recently returned from a tour of Southern Ireland with the Irving Chorale. Ms. Fox
graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce and works at the Dallas Court of Appeals. She resides in Rowlett with her
husband Derek and studies voice with Janette Williams-Tull.
