Grief Support Group - 1st & 3rd Mondays at 5 p.m. - Marlene Alexander, R.N., Facilitator.
This group uses various materials on the subject to promote healing of people who have experienced loss, especially in the recent past.
Empty Nesters - Every other Sunday at 7 p.m.

Women’s Support Groups - Monday Bible study groups meet the 1st & 3rd Mondays, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Senior Women’s Koffee Klatch at Brandon’s Diner on the 2nd Tuesday at 9 a.m. September through June
Men’s Support Groups - Sunday evening Bible study at 6:00 p.m.
Men’s Breakfast at Brandon’s Diner every 4th Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
Other Bible Studies - Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 a.m.
A New Beginning - 1st & 3rd Thursday at 11 a.m.
Reclaiming the Healing Ministry of Jesus - Every other Thursday at 7 p.m.
T.L.C. for Cancer Patients Ministry - Fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
This group assembles items for cancer patients at Riverside Regional Hospital
Youth Ministry
A variety of programs especially directed to serve the youth of our community with opportunities for fellowship, spiritual & intellectual enrichment as well as social activities.
Scout Troops
Award-winning Girl Scout, Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops.
School
Excellent Preschool and Kindergarten program September through June with Summer School Program.
Community Agency Support
We support and are highly invested in the Community Assistance Program (CAP) Moreno Valley’s local food bank..
Braille Workers
Shepherd hosts a Lutheran Braille Workstation on Thursday mornings where members assemble and mail large-print Lutheran Hour sermons every week to visually impaired people around the globe.
Quilting for Lutheran World Relief - Meeting every 4th Saturday at 9 a.m. January to October.
Assembling quilts for LWR with fabric donated from various sources.
Concerts and Workshops
Shepherd hosts various workshops (e.g. parenting classes) and concert/choral groups throughout the year.
Special Holiday Care Giving
Many of our groups provide extra help to those in physical need, especially during the holidays - including: food baskets and toys for the children and participation in the "Angel Tree" project that provides toys for the children of those who are incarcerated.
Overseas Outreach
Our Sunday School and Vacation Bible School financially supports an orphan from Thailand with funds for food, medicine, clothing, etc. |
