September 20, 2009 HOLY COMMUNION is celebrated in our services this morning. + Guests who are baptized Christians, who acknowledge and confess their sinfulness, who confess Jesus Christ as their Savior from sin, and who believe that He is really present in Holy Communion to bring us His forgiveness and life, are welcome to the Lord's Table. + If you commune, please note it on your attendance card. The cups toward the center of the Communion trays contain non-alcoholic wine. Children are welcome to come forward to receive a blessing. LWR SCHOOL & HEALTH KIT UPDATE: Thanks for your donations of items for the kits. We are a little lop-sided on the amount of items we have received so if you still are shopping for these items we especially need: unsharpened #2 pencils, rulers with centimeters on one side, 70 sheet notebooks, pencil sharpeners, school kit bags (check church entryway rack for pattern), hand towels (dark color preferred), toothbrushes, sturdy combs, ½" or ¾" band aids, metal nail files (or clippers with file attached) and wrapped bath-size soap.
