I've posted some photos from an old album of Bertha Barklow's to see if anyone with information about the Barklow family tree can identify the individuals in the various photos.

The ITF Flashcard interface has been modified from having a single deck to having separate decks for each Gup and also a having a deck that combines all of the Gups into one deck.  Some graphics have been added, but they are still misbehaving and incomplete.  The scoring feature also doesn't work correctly.   Now that there is an extra layer of indirection to get to the actual flashcards, the window defaults to a small window that you will need to drag to make it larger.  However, I believe this actually gets rid of some of the issues that were present in the single list version.

I finally managed to put together a set of flashcards that works with the WebQuizzer program.  In theory, WebQuizzer supports the same decks as MemorizeIT, but I've had lots of problems getting it to work when I increase the size of the text field from the default. Hence, it has been difficult to include large text fields in the Web version although they work fine in MemorizeIT.  This initial deck of Flashcards does not contain cards for the graphics and text for describing the characteristics of the various stances and there are a few other incomplete cards.  However it is close enough to use. 

 

For some reason, the scoring feature isn't working correcting, but I haven't had time to look into it.  I don't have the source code for that feature, so I can only run blackbox experiments to track down the problem.

Since this is our first attempt at a blog, there is little chance that it will contain any useful informaiton.  We are just starting to set up this web site and have not put any content into it yet.  There are some pointers to some of our other family sites that you might want to visit.  They haven't been updated in a long time, but at least they have a little content.
