*** Todd and Bradley have arrived in China! ***
Bradley in the local News Bradley Tullous (pictured center above) is 13 years old and the son of Todd and Amy Tullous of Wattsville, VA. Bradley was born with a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplaysia (ONH). ONH is a condition where the optic nerves, which connect the eyes to the brain, are underdeveloped. Bradley was diagnosed with ONH when he was just a couple of months old. Since that time, Bradley’s parents have consistently been told by doctors that ONH is a totally untreatable condition. Recently that all changed, when Todd and Amy learned of a new treatment now available in China. This new, breakthrough treatment involves a series of injections of adult stem cells taken from umbilical cord blood. Bradley is totally blind in his left eye and has limited vision in his right eye, with no peripheral vision and nystagmus (involuntary eye movement). The limited vision Bradley has in his right eye is also delayed. When Bradley was first diagnosed, doctors told his parents that he may likely be totally blind. Bradley and his parents are very greatful for the limited vision that Bradley does have, believing that it is a direct result of the prayers of many people. Bradley has been evaluated by medical professionals and accepted for stem cell treatment in China. Bradley's parents are currently trying to raise the monies necessary for Bradley to receive the treatment. They are hopeful that the treatment would allow Bradley to live a more independent life and maybe even drive an automobile one day. But they need your support to give Bradley this opportunity. Please click here to make a donation for Bradley's treatment. In addition to your financial support, your prayers for Bradley would be appreciated immensely. The Tullous family wants to be sure that you know that the treatment Bradley is seeking in China exclusively uses adult stem cells that are retrieved from the umbilical cords of live, healthy babies, and not embryonic stem cells, which they would not consider as an option.
