I teach all ages and all levels, and have an extensive and varied background in the field of music:

• I hold a BMus in Piano Pedagogy from Queens College, Charlotte, NC. where my studies included numerous ensemble classes, as well as an independent study in vocal and instrumental accompanying.
• I have been a church pianist / keyboardist from 1970 to 1998 at the Paran United Methodist Church, Charlottesville; the Salvation Army, Norfolk Corps, Norfolk, VA; First Colonial Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, VA; Thrift Road Christian Church, Charlotte, NC; and Broadmoore Church of Christ, Chesapeake, VA.
• I held the position of Music Instructor for Group Piano and Theory Classes at The Norfolk School of Music.
• I was a small business owner of The Music Shop in Virginia Beach, VA from 1986 to 1992.
• In addition to my classical training and performances, I have accompanied many musical plays, including work with The Children's Theater of Charlotte, Charlotte NC, and the Crozet Children's Theater, Crozet VA.
• I was a member of my college Community Orchestra.
