The Berwick Amateur Radio Society { B.A.R.S. }, was started in 1996 by a hand full of guys who wanted to put up a repeater that had great coverage, and to form a club that would become known as one of the most friendly clubs around. We are located in Berwick, Pa., and the repeater is on Nescopeck mountain, about 6 miles south of Berwick. There are 7 of us who own the machine. We also help out with community projects along with another area club C.M.A.R.C. . If you want more info, send me an E-mail. We have gone from a low profile repeater, to one of the highest profile repeaters in the area. Our new site is at 2100 feet. We are covering areas that needed to be covered for a long time. Feel free to check out our site and see some of the guys who put this all together.
