Tal holds a BA in Theater from Connecticut College, and has studied at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-on-Avon. He has served as a writer, producer and stage manager for numerous high-profile events in and around Manhattan, including New Year’s Eve in Times Square, the New York Yankees Homecoming Dinner and the Grammy’s official after-party, working with Tom Brokaw, Regis Philben, Dan Aykroyd, Sidney Poitier, Katie Couric and many others.  His productions with RMTG have garnered support from the Westchester Arts Council in the form of Arts Alive Grants for the past four seasons. He co-produced, directed and performed in Fleetwood Stage’s Cabaret Nights benefit series alongside Campbell Scott, Meg Bussert, Linda Dano and others, and has given private acting classes for several years. Other directing credits include Tennessee Williams’ In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel (Fleetwood Stage Platform Series) Dark of the Moon and Agnes of God (both at CSCP) The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Twelfth Night (Port Chester Council for the Arts) and An Inspector Calls (Fort Hill Players). He has also worked as a voice actor and voice director for Planewalker Games.
 
Additional favorite NYC and regional acting credits include Dr. Frederick Treves (The Elephant Man), Roy (Lone Star, Irish Arts Center), Malcolm (Macbeth, Fleetwood Stage), Bill (Sure Thing, Fleetwood Stage), Ted Barnes (Big Time, Fleetwood Stage), Antonio (The Tempest), Gary (I Hate Hamlet), and Pericles (title role).
