Human Subjects Certification Film: Monday, April 21, 2008 Presentation
on Camden Campus
The Certification Film is an alternative means for individuals to
complete the Human Subjects Certification Program (HSCP).
Certification is required for all individuals involved in the design or
conduct of human subjects research, and this film offers an easier
means of fulfilling that requirement. The Research Integrity and
Compliance Office of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and
the Office of Sponsored Research will be presenting this two-part film
on Monday, April 21, 2008.
Attendance for the complete showing of
both parts is required in order to obtain HSCP certification via this
alternative. Attendees are asked to present a valid form of
identification, such as a student ID. New faculty, staff,
graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to attend the screening
in order to obtain their HSCP certification.
The film was compiled from a seminar presented by Dr. Thomas Puglisi,
former Director of Human Subjects Protections of the Office for Human
Research Protections (OHRP). The film will be presented in two
parts at the location and time listed below and covers the following
