Bio/CV

Tatiana Ginsberg grew up in New York City, and did her undergraduate degree at Sarah Lawrence College, where she did her first work with printing, papermaking, and artist’s books. After working in book publishing for seven years—five of them at the Metropolitan Museum of Art—she left New York to study at the University of Iowa Center for the Book. She spent two years studying papermaking and book arts, after which she received a Fulbright research grant to investigate naturally dyed Japanese papers in Japan. Continuing her work with papermaking and dyeing techniques, she recently completed an MFA at UC Santa Barbara. She now holds the College of Creative Studies Teaching Fellowship there, teaching primarily paper, printmaking, and book arts.
