Vigias, 2007.

MFA thesis exhibition (at the UC Santa Barbara University Art Museum). The installation centered on a book, Existence Doubtful, which contained a 12 foot long fold-out map. Drawn on the surface of the paper were rhumb lines and the names of the islands once thought to comprise the Anson archipelago. These islands disappeared from maps in the mid-nineteenth century.

100 Days, 2006.

Every day for 100 days (July 3rd to Oct 10) I made a bowl out of scraps of my handmade paper and drank from it. The date and the liquid imbibed are recorded on the bottom.
