Voodoo Limousine Comes Out of the Vault March 2006
Welcome to March!
It’s almost Spring time in Massachusetts and it can’t come fast enough for us. The Gravestone Girls have a lot of plans for 2006 and can’t wait for better (more consistent) weather to get out in those cemeteries and capture new images to share with all you taphophiles out there.
In last month’s Epitaph we got all teary-eyed about love and loss in honor of Valentine’s day. This month, we’ll depart from that and get into some good, ole self-aggrandizement (something the Puritans would have surely frowned upon) and talk about Voodoo Limousine’s new driving season.

As we speak, Vaughn (The Original Hearse Limousine) is being awoken from his winter slumber and is receiving the royal treatment to spiff him up for the next season of proms, parties, weddings, concerts and other possibly unspeakable road trips.

He’s a good looking guy who wants to strut his stuff and make your special occasion that much more special and memorable. How many people will be able to say they had a hearse limousine tend to their special affair? You should be one of them!

Hire Vaughn for a special occasion and you can brag about the leather interior, DVD player, two wet bars and CD player all contained in a silver and purple 20 foot flaming hearse. Subtle we are not. But we are fun! And we want to help give your event exceptional style and extraordinary distinction!
Voodoo Limousine, is the one and only Hearse Limousine in New England. Talk to us about the next event you’re dying to attend!
Memento Mori!

"Lucky Charms"
Forget about The Luck of The Irish! Get yourself some old fashioned Puritan Protection with this eight pointed ‘Hex Star’ from the gravestone of Mrs. Anna Pritchard, who is buried in Newton Centre, Massachusetts. She died in 1843 and two of these stars are carved on her tombstone. This symbol is meant to ward of hexes that may cause harm to the soul of the deceased and is a sign of protection, like that of a "God’s Eye.”

"Granny Smith" is credited with producing the first "Granny Smith" green apple. Experimenting with French Crab apples she had obtained from Tasmania, she developed the apple variety from seedlings that were a mutation. Though never a commercial success in her lifetime, the variety now bears her name around the world.
