Time Flies Wall Clock Time Flies Wall Clock
Hora Fugit! = Time Flies! We created a beautiful wall clock by casting an entire tympanum (the top, curved part of the gravestone where the carving is) and fitting it with clock movements and hands. The carved image is a Winged Hourglass, a timeless old New England symbol for the passage of time and the brevity of life. The original 1772 gravestone marks the grave of William Field in Providence, Rhode Island.
