Registrations for the next school year: this weekend someone will be in the Father Lamothe Center after all Masses.  Fees have increased to $30 a child with a family maximum of $60.

 

NOVENA TO ST. THERESA: Begins this Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. just before the Rosary.  Join us as we thank St. Theresa for her intercession on behalf of her “favorite” parish and ask her to continue to ask God for His graces to be showered upon our parish and its family members.

FOOD PANTRY:  WE ARE IN SPECIAL NEED OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS; pasta & pasta sauce, peanut butter, tuna fish, cereal, canned vegetables & fruits, soups, bean. Your wonderful response bringing in non-perishable items has restocked our shelves. Each week we give out 10 to 12 bags of food. Most needed Cereal, tuna, canned vegetables, pasta sauce, peanut butter, canned soups, and other non-perishable items bring them in anytime; just leave under the tables at the entrances.  THANK YOU to all who have been able to give extra to keep us supplied for those who need the groceries.

 

BLOOD DRIVE: THIS Sunday, August 10, 9 a.m. to noon in our parish hall. Bring a Buddy and save some buddies. Each pint collected saves three lives.

  

SENIORS OF ST. THERESA:  Wednesay, August 13, we meet at the Pizza Hut, Diamond Hill Road. Thursday, August 21, Wrights Chicken Farm, tickets are $11 per person and  available from Chet or Rita.

 

THRIFT SHOP:  Is in need of gently used clothing, cleaning closets to get ready for summer? Drop off in the parish hall Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thank you.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS:  Meeting THIS Sunday, August 10, AT 12:30 P.M. IN THE BASEMENT.  We are looking for  Hard Candy, SHAVING CREAM, TEABAGS,  TOOTHPASTE, TOOTHBRUSHES, DISPOSABLE RAZORS, DEODORANT, CRACKERS, large baby wipes, and playing cards. If you know of anyone serving out of the states let us know we would like to send them a package.

ST. PAUL’S GOLF TOURNAMENT: The Fifth Annual Church of St. Paul Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Country View Gold Club in Harrisville, RI. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The fee is $100 per player, included cart, green fees, and “Italian Special” dinner.
