Registrations for the next school year: this weekend someone will be in the Father Lamothe Center after all Masses.  Fees have increased to $30 a child with a family maximum of $60.

FOOD PANTRY:  WE ARE IN SPECIAL NEED OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS; pasta & pasta sauce, peanut butter, tuna fish, cereal, canned vegetables & fruits, soups, bean. Your wonderful response bringing in non-perishable items has restocked our shelves. Each week we give out 10 to 12 bags of food. Most needed Cereal, tuna, canned vegetables, pasta sauce, peanut butter, canned soups, and other non-perishable items bring them in anytime; just leave under the tables at the entrances.  THANK YOU to all who have been able to give extra to keep us supplied for those who need the groceries.

BLOOD DRIVE: Sunday, August 10, 9 a.m. to noon in our parish hall. Bring a Buddy and save some buddies. Each pint collected saves three lives.

SENIORS OF ST. THERESA:  Wednesay, August 13, we meet at the Pizza Hut, Diamond Hill Road. Thursday, August 21, Wrights Chicken Farm, tickets are $11 per person and  available from Chet or Rita.

THRIFT SHOP:  Is in need of gently used clothing, cleaning closets to get ready for summer? Drop off in the parish hall Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thank you.

APPRECIATION PARTY Next Saturday, September 15 after the 4 p.m. Mass in the Father Lamothe Center for Father Bomba. We will have finger foods, chips, dips, sandwiches, cheese crackers etc. feel free to bring anything you’d like. Join us as we show our gratitude to Father for his care this past year.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS:  We are looking for  Hard Candy, SHAVING CREAM, TEABAGS,  TOOTHPASTE, TOOTHBRUSHES, DISPOSABLE RAZORS, DEODORANT, CRACKERS, large baby wipes, and playing cards. ST. PAUL’S GOLF TOURNAMENT: The Fifth Annual Church of St. Paul Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Country View Gold Club in Harrisville, RI. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The fee is $100 per player, included cart, green fees, and “Italian Special” dinner. CAR WASH:  Sponsored by BMAA 1112 All Star team fund raiser to send team to Nova Scotia Canada in a tournament, to be held here Saturday, August 9, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

ST. CHARLES CHURCH: Pasta Dinner, Saturday, August 9, St. Charles parish hall, from 5 p.m. featuring pasta with meat sauce, salad, rolls butter, dessert, & coffee.  Tickets are $9 for adults $4 for children under 12. Proceeds support St. Charles kitchen renovation.

MAGNIFICAT—PILGRAMAGE OF HOPE:  To celebrate the 150 anniversary of the Archdiocese of  Boston the Magnificat will sponsor this event Saturday & Sunday October 11 & 12 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.   Speakers from 16 specialized topics including the Eucharist, Scriptures, Saints, Sacred Music, a Special Presentation on the anniversary of the 150^th anniversary of the Apparition of our Lady of Lourdes, and much more.  To make reservations or for a full schedule please call 914-502-1840.

RENEWAL OF FAITH SEMINAR With Dr. SCOTT HAHN:  Saturday, August 16^th   11 a.m. to 3 p.m. At St. Joseph Church 10H Putnam Extension, Charlton, MA. He will be focusing on “The Lamb’s Supper” and “First Comes Love”. Registration from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Mass begins at 10 a.m. Light snacks will be provided in the afternoon.
