- Be consistent with your attendance. If you must be absent, please
let he coach know ahead of time, if possible.
- Be prompt! Arrive early to get into your suit and to get your gear
together! If you must arrive late or leave early, please try to let
your coach know ahead of time.
- Swimmers should have suits, caps, goggles, and other equipment as
directed by the coach at every practice. It is highly recommended that
swimmers bring extra suits and goggles.
- Pool rules and policies must be observed at all times. This includes
taking a shower before entering the pool! Any person not observing the
rules and policies of the pool will be dealt with by their coach and
also the pool manager.
- Practice is the time for personal and team improvement. Actions that
are disruptive not only hurt the swimmer and their personal
improvement, but many times affect the other swimmers. If disruption
from a swimmer is constant, that swimmer will be asked to leave
practice.
- All swimmers are asked to respect the rights of every other swimmer
on the team, regardless of who they are.
- Parents are encouraged to watch practice,
keeping in mind that the main goal is to allow swimmers to focus on their
work with their coach. If you have questions of the
coaching staff, please try to talk to them before or after workouts.
- Parents should understand that they are responsible for their swimmer until
that swimmer is in the water, and again immediately following their practice.
- Any swimmer or parent that has been given three discipline referrals, will
put the swimmer's membership in jeopardy.
