Hunter case has etched farmhouse scene on back, and leaf design on front. ACQUIRED FROM Public auction in Stricklerstown, PA CONDITION WHEN ACQUIRED Not running, hour and minute hands missing, crystal missing. RESTORATION August 1991 - Movement cleaned and oiled, hands and crystal replaced by Mr. Kury, Lebanon, PA. October 1991 - Purchased 14k gold watch chain from an antique shop in New Hampshire.

The company was in business from 1851-1957, they operated as the American Waltham Watch Co. from 1859, when Waltham Improvement Co. and the Apppleton, Tracy & Co. merged.
