CONDITION WHEN ACQUIRED Not running.

RESTORATION June 2000 - Replaced battery with Type A (303), set watch to running.

HISTORICAL DATA Watch was Great Uncle Craig (father's side of the family.

The Timex Co., got it's start in 1944 when the Ingersol-Waterbury Clock Co. was re-organized as the U.S. Time Corp. In 1955 the first Timex watches were produced. In 1969 U.S. Time Corp. changed it's name to Timex. The first quartz movement watches were offered by Timex in 1972.
