Red sweep seconds hand. ACQUIRED FROM Unknown. CONDITION WHEN ACQUIRED Watch in good running order, case in good condition. Metal band broke, will need to be replaced RESTORATION N/A HISTORICAL DATA The Timex Co., got it's start in 1944 when the Ingersol-Waterbury Clock Co. was re-organized as the U.S. Time Corp. In 1955 the first Timex watches were produced. In 1969, the U.S. Time Corp. changed it's name to Timex. The first quartz movement watches were offered by Timex in 1972.
